Mr Norton has always carefully explained all aspects of my total hip replacement and the aftercare of same.
He has always encouraged and given me every opportunity to question the care and treatment I continue to receive…the latter being quite exemplary.
I have every confidence in Mr Norton and am very grateful to be in his care.

Mark had seen me on follow ups and explained clearly any concerns I had, even to the extent to explain the problem of systems in the area that were not of the hip replacement which was appreciated to ease my concerns.
I am 77 years old and since my hip replacement late November 2022, I have been skiing aggressively and play 5 a side football.

Mr Norton has years of experience of hip replacement operations and considering this was my 1st surgery I have ever had, he explained fully what to expect and what the operation entailed. Initially I was very nervous about it all but he put me at ease and fully understood what was going to happen and what I could do in order to recover well.

I have been seeing Mark Norton for approximately 20 years due to my hip deterioration and replacements. In that time I have found him to be an excellent consultant who has listened to my problems and has acted in a professional manner.
My problematic hip has been operated on successfully and there have been, over the years, several follow up sessions to make sure that the hip is sound. I am delighted to say that my hip is now in a very good state and it functions normally with no problems
I would recommend Mark Norton to anybody who has any form of hip breakdown

Mr. Norton has now replaced both my right and left hip. My recovery from both has been wonderful and relatively speedy. In my opinion Mr. Norton is a talented and very good surgeon and I would not hesitate to recommend him. I don't believe he could improve on his stellar care for my body. I might add (though its not very appropriate here!) that nursing care could have been better.

I am best known for having a special interest in younger adults with hip pain when no arthritis is apparent.
I also deal with Hip arthritis and complex hip deformities.
I have 15 years of experience as a Consultant managing young adults with hip problems and a large experience of Hip arthroscopy, open Hip impingement surgery and a wide range of hip replacements including hip resurfacing in very high demand people.
I undertake over 100 hip arthroscopies every year and approximately 200 hip replacements. I perform revision hip replacements and reconstructive surgery for more unusual deformities.
